What do you Call your Parents in Japanese?
Have you ever wondered how to address your parents in Japanese? Most Japanese classes will teach you the basic "okaa-san" and "otou-san," but did you know there are quite a few other ways to call your parents? Shin-chan, from the anime Crayon Shin-chan, refers to his parents as "tou-chan" and "kaa-chan."
