Misoko, do you watch any Japanese drama and anime? My friend is asking for some recommendations to watch. They want to learn some Japanese pop-culture while practicing their Japanese.
Hmm...I haven't watched many new shows. I do know a few older ones, but I don't think they would be interested. Luckily, I have a few foreign friends who have their own dramas and anime that they enjoyed watching!

Quite a few of the suggestions are older, so you will have a fairly large backlog of shows to watch from! Also, many Japanese people are familiar with these shows, so you will be able to talk to them about the shows! Just make sure that the person you are talking to knows about anime or drama...otherwise, it could lead to some awkward situations, like what happened with our hosts.
